When Mary & Shirley Nations (sisters-in-law) founded “Imagi-nations” back in 1986,
their vision, an evolution from their nationally sought after clothing design business, was to
offer local brides a convenient, centrally located within Mississippi, shop with “Big City
Selections that you Want, Small Town high quality gowns at affordable prices.
Their slogan back then, Service that you Deserve,” spread like wildfire from satisfied clients,
attracting many more brides than just local, growing “Imagi-nations” into one of the
largest bridal stores in Mississippi and the South.  They loved what they did and it showed!
After 21 years in the bridal business the Nations’ became interested in selling
Imagi-nations at the end of 2006.  In 2007 “Imagi-nations” was sold to Mary & Paul
Johnson, residents of Brookhaven.  The Johnson’s were up for the challenge and
opportunity to continue and improve upon the legacy built by the Nations’.
In May of 2007, “Imagi-nations” officially became Imaginations Bridal and was
relocated to a spacious 13,000 square foot showroom in the
center of Brookhaven’s beautiful historic district.

While styles have changed, Imaginations Bridal’s commitment to quality, affordability
and service has never wavered.  Now in its third decade of service, Imaginations Bridal
is still pampering brides with the same simple philosophy that Mary & Shirley Nations
so successfully crafted: courteous, knowledgeable, personal service
providing the best possible bridal purchase experience.
